Yogurt Pie Recipe
This yogurt pie recipe is my sister-in-law's favorite dessert. I first tried it when she requested it instead of a birthday cake a few years ago.
It is so light you almost don't feel like you are eating dessert at all. Because it needs to be frozen, it is perfect for entertaining because you can make it the day before.
In any event, it's the perfect way to end a meal.
Yogurt Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 ready made graham cracker pie crust
- 3 cups strawberry yogurt
- 2-3 cups Cool Whip
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions:
Combine the strawberry yogurt with the Cool Whip. Mix in fresh strawberries. Place mix into graham cracker crust and freeze. Just before serving, top with additional Cool Whip and fresh strawberries.
You could make this pie with any flavor yogurt and any fruit you like, as long as it freezes well, or simply eliminate the fruit altogether.
Mix and match and have fun with this one!
