Spinach Salad Recipe
This is an amazing spinach salad recipe that I first tasted when my mother-in-law made it for my bridal shower over ten years ago. I have been making it for gatherings ever since.
Without fail, every time I make this recipe people ask what the dressing is. They have a hard time believing me when I tell them that it is just mayonnaise. It is unbelievable how the flavors of this salad all come together to create such an amazing taste.
Spinach Salad
Ingredients:
- 4 bags spinach - washed
- 1 16 oz. block of Swiss cheese, cut into thin strips
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked & crumbled
- ½ red onion sliced thin
- ¼ bag frozen peas, thawed and drained
- Hellman's mayonnaise to taste
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl. Toss with mayonnaise until desired consistency is reached. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
This recipe makes enough salad to feed approximately 25 people. If you would like to make a smaller or larger portion, simply cut the recipe or increase it accordingly.
