Small House For Family of Four

How do i make my small house manageable/organized for my family of 4 with an open space plan? Would I use bookshelves with a label maker and under bed totes?

How do I organize an extremely small kitchen with only 5 cabinets?

I'm open to any advice you have, please help.

Organizing a Small House

My first, and most important suggestion, is to follow one of my cardinal rules for organization...you are only allowed to own as much stuff as you have the space to store. This rule is especially important when you live in a small space.

The first thing I would suggest for you is to purge all unnecessary and unwanted items from your home so that you only have to be concerned with storing absolute necessities.

Once you have purged down to necessities only you will need to get a little creative when it comes to organization. Sometimes organizing a small space requires a little thinking outside the box.
