Seafood Chowder Recipe

This seafood chowder recipe is smooth, creamy, satisfying and delicious. The only thing that can be better than that is how easy it is to make. You can use any kind of firm white fish that you like so you can control the fish flavor. With the addition of the potatoes for bulk, this is chowder makes a hearty and fulfilling meal. Seafood Chowder

Ingredients:

  • 1½ lbs. any kind of white fish
  • 3 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1½ cups water
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1, 13 oz. can evaporated milk

Directions:

Cut the fish into bite size pieces and place in crock pot. Add all remaining ingredients except the evaporated milk. Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours. Add the evaporated milk when one hour of cooking time remains.
