Receipts Envelope

I keep every receipt for the purchases I make throughout the holiday season and I write what the purchase was and a name of who it is for (if a gift item) and it makes it much easier to track exactly what I spent on the holidays - gifts, decorations, food. Helps keep spending in perspective. All cash!

Keeping Track of Holiday Spending

This is a great system! Thank you so much for taking the time to share it.

I also like to keep track of what I spend for the holidays. I set a budget and knowing what I am spending along the way helps me to stick within my budget. After all, the holidays don't seem quite as enjoyable if you are left with a mountain of debt afterward.
