It sounds to me like you might be a teacher, wondering how to keep your classroom organized.
Not being a teacher myself, I obviously do not know all of the ins and outs of what types of things teachers need to keep in their classrooms. Also, items in a classroom will vary from grade to grade.
Being an organizer, I will admit that I have taken the time to admire some of the more clever ideas that I have seen some of my son's teachers implement to keep their classrooms organized.
Here are a few good ones...
1. For small items and sets that must be kept together, place them in a plastic basket. Create a label for the basket, laminate it and punch a hole in each top corner. Slip metal key rings through the holes in the label and then through the holes in the basket. Place all of your baskets neatly lined up on a shelf.
2. For unfinished projects that students need to put away and finish another time, string a clothesline through the loops of binder clip handles. Hang your clothesline wherever it fits in your classroom. Assign each student a plastic envelope with their name on it to place their project pieces in. Clip the envelopes to the binder clips and hang them from your project clothesline.
3. For worksheets, homework papers, tests and other papers and assignments that you have planned for the future, use file folders and expandable accordion files or filing cabinets. Place each set of worksheets in a file folder and label it. Group the file folders together by subject matter and place them in labeled accordion files or file cabinet drawers.
