A Little About Me

Hi, I'm Tracy and I am the proud owner of Tips to Organize Life, the website that provides you with shortcuts, tips and tricks to help you feel more efficient and less overwhelmed in every aspect of your life.

I am passionate about organization because I enjoy having an open door policy at my home. I encourage family, friends and neighbors to stop by unannounced knowing that my house is always ready to accept visitors. I think back fondly on the time that a co-worker came to visit for the first time and said "I suppose your house always looks like this and you didn't just clean up because you knew I was coming over."

Over the years I have found that there is a fine line between being organized and being compulsive. I like my home to be organized but I want my family to be comfortable in my home. I don't want my son to grow up feeling as though he lives in a museum. Life is going to happen. Messes are going to happen. There is a happy medium.

Several years ago, when my husband and I were moving from our first home to our current home we purged a lot of clutter. Despite my organization, I was amazed at the amount of unnecessary "stuff" we had accumulated over the years. We developed a motto that we still live by today: Streamline and Simplify. That motto helps remind us to live simply and without clutter.

My wish is that you will discover the joys of an uncluttered life.

My Passion Comes to Life

One rainy Sunday morning in early Spring I sat down at my computer with a cup of coffee and began surfing the internet looking for nothing in particular. I had been feeling a bit discouraged and needed some inspiration. All of a sudden, I stumbled across Site Build It! I was instantly intrigued.

Once I began reading about SBI! I could not stop. I read and researched all day long. By 8:00 p.m. I realized that if simply reading about what I could do with Site Build It! ignited such a passion within me, imagine what actually building a site would be like?

I knew nothing about websites. I didn't even know what I would create a website about, but I knew that I was feeling passionate again and I was convinced that building a website with SBI! would change my life. I was absolutely right!

With the help of SBI!, I was able to turn something I am passionate about into a thriving online business. I get the wonderful opportunity to help others and earn an extra income doing something that I love.

SBI! provided me with all of the tools necessary to create my website, from researching my topic to creating my content and everything in between. SBI even taught me how to turn my website into an extra income.

Since I knew nothing about web design, I chose to take advantage of SBI's block by block system which is so simple it is like an old friend taking you by the hand and leading the way. Once I became more comfortable I was able to begin customizing my site.

The more I learn the more I am able to develop my site. That's part of the beauty of SBI! It allows you to customize your site to the degree at which you are comfortable - from their simple templates through uploading your own HTML, using CSS and getting creative with your favorite web design software like Dreamweaver or Photoshop.

SBI! really is the foundation for site building success.
