Grilled Salmon Recipe
This is a very easy grilled salmon recipe that requires almost no effort at all. Serve it with some grilled veggies or a salad and dinner is done. When cooked this way, the salmon comes out perfectly done with a slightly sweet, almost caramelized coating. It is the perfect combination of sweet and salty that makes this recipe a success.
You will notice that there are no measurements listed. This is because you can make as little or as much of the marinade as you need depending on the number of salmon steaks you are preparing. Just make sure to keep the ratio 3 to 1.
Grilled Salmon Steaks
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. salmon steaks
- maple syrup
- soy sauce
Directions:
Remove skin from salmon steaks. Place the steaks in a bowl. Mix 3 parts maple syrup to one part soy sauce - make enough to completely cover the salmon steaks. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 days.
Remove the salmon steaks from the bowl, letting any excess marinade drip off and place them on a warm grill. Cook 4 minutes per side, turning only once.
