Crock Pot Meatball Recipe

This is my Grandmother's crock pot meatball recipe. Unfortunately, she passed away when I was 4 years old but I remember my Aunt making these for family gatherings. When I got married, she gave me the recipe. I hope you enjoy these meatballs as much as I do.

Crock Pot Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tblsp. yellow mustard
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 can cranberry sauce
  • 1 jar chili sauce

Directions:

Combine ground sirloin, egg, mustard, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Form meatballs, slightly smaller than golf balls. Place meatballs in crock pot. Combine cranberry sauce and chili sauce and pour over meatballs. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a little water or beef broth. Serve over rice or buttered egg noodles or in a bun with some provolone cheese for a meatball sub.
