Crock Pot Barbecue Beef Recipe
This crock pot barbecue beef recipe is perfect for any season. Barbecue Beef
Ingredients:
- 2-3 lb. beef roast - any cut (whatever is on sale that week)
- Water to cover the roast
- Liquid Smoke (can usually be found near the Worcestershire sauce in your grocery store), to taste
- BBQ sauce - your favorite kind
Directions:
Place roast in crock pot and add just enough water to cover. Add Liquid Smoke (you will find this near the Worcestershire sauce in the grocery store), to taste. Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove roast and discard liquid. Shred roast with two forks (it should be so tender that it practically falls apart with little effort). Place shredded meat back into crock pot to keep warm and add bbq sauce until desired consistency is reached.
Serve on buns with cole slaw.
