Chinese Recipe: Beef and Noodles
This is a great Chinese recipe. My husband loves Chinese pepper steak, but up until I found this crock pot recipe, I could never get the beef as tender as they do in our favorite Chinese restaurant, regardless of what cut of meat I tried. With this recipe the meat melts in your mouth - just like in the restaurants. If you like Chinese food, give this recipe a try.
Chinese Beef and Noodles
Ingredients:
- 1½ lbs. sirloin steak
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 Tblsp. rice wine vinegar
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- ¼ cup sherry
- 1 Tblsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tblsp. peanuts, chopped
- 1 pkg. Chinese vermicelli noodles
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except noodles in crock pot. Mix to combine. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Just before serving, cook noodles according to package directions. Serve beef over noodles.
