Chipped Beef Cheese Ball Recipe

Several years ago, while visiting my husband's grandmother who lives in a different states, I was introduced to my first chipped beef cheese ball. I was instantly in love. Nana had purchased her cheese ball, ready made, from her local grocery store.

Upon returning home, I immediately began searching for a similar cheese ball at every local grocery store I visted. I had no luck. The only option left was to make one myself. I hope you enjoy this delicious cheese ball as much as I do.

Chipped Beef Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 2.5 oz. jar chipped beef
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together. Either form into a ball or spread into a serving dish and chill before serving. Serve with crackers.

*Optional - sprinkle with your favorite crushed nuts before serving. If you form this dip into a ball, you can roll it in the crushed nuts so it looks just like a cheese ball you would buy at the grocery store.
